Finally got the guts to try and knit a pair of socks. They’re actually turning out better than expected. That damn turning the heel tho.

Day 1: What was your first finished project?
A really terrible beanie, that ended up being 14 sizes to large. In a really ugly mint green wool that I got at a market. I wish I would have taken a photo, it was laughable. I think I tried actually wearing it out, more out of pride rather than genuine like of the finished hat.

first sweater. it’s so lumpy~
This started out as a photo blog, but I’ve been knitting so much recently..so I’ve decided that this is going to be a place for inspiration and progress on current (not so perfectly constructed) knitting projects.
My grandma taught me to crochet when I was around 8, but I never really did much with it aside from when I’d visit her house.

In the process of reading every 村上 春樹(Haruki Murakami)novel.
The way he writes, the way he expresses dialogue and inner monologue. Everything. I don’t think I’ll ever feel filled to the brim.
I’ll always want to pick up Norwegian Wood, and read it over and over again.
